Job Details\n\n\nDescription\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n 12 hour Day/Night Rotation \n Full Time Day/Night Rotation \n  \n Reports to :\n\n\n\n\nClinical Supervisor, ICU\n\n\n\n \n\n Position Supervises :\n\n\n\nN/A\n\n\n\n\n \n\n Job Summary :\n\n\n\nResponsible for providing direct nursing care to assigned patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Provides intensive nursing care to acutely ill medical and/or surgical inpatients. The Registered Nurse’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performance improvement initiatives, utilization of the nursing process in the provision of care, communication skills, flexibility, quality improvement activities, and professional growth.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\n
Education \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n⚬ Minimum:\n\n\n\nGraduate of a Registered Nurse Program\n\n\n\n\n \n\n⚬ Preferred:\n\n\n\nBachelor Degree in Nursing, CCRN\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n Registration/Certification/Licensure :\n\n\n\nCurrent PA RN license, Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS within one year of hire/transfer, and Act 33/73 clearances\n\n\n\n\n \n\n Experience \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n⚬ Minimum:\n\n\n\nClinical rotation through educational program.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n⚬\n\n\nPreferred:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\nPrior med-surg experience and arrhythmia interpretation. Critical Care experience, including but not limited to: IABP, IV insertion, care of the ventilator patient, ABG’s, Swan Ganz, Arterial Lines, care of the post open heart patient, and care of the patient requiring CRRT, ACLS, and PALS.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n
