Position: Early Intervention Service Coordinator

Rate: $55/hour

Requirements:

• PA Teaching Certification in Special Education (required)
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience (required)
• Preschool-age teaching experience (preferred)
• Current FBI fingerprints, PA Criminal, and Child Abuse background checks
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and coordinating child and family linkages with infant/toddler programs upon entry to preschool and with school districts upon exit from preschool services
• Assisting children and families with resources and education regarding local services that may benefit the family
• Monitoring EI program data
• Maintaining documentation of compliance with mandates of IDEA and Chapter 14
• Coordinating all aspects of EI to meet the needs of each individual learner, providing the best care, safety, welfare, and security for students

Physical requirements:

• Walking
• Standing
• Stooping
• Lifting approximately 20 pounds
• Occasional lifting of equipment and materials weighing 40 pounds
