We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our innovative engineering team. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Mechanical Systems : Utilize SolidWorks to design, model, and develop high-quality mechanical components and assemblies.
• SolidWorks Automation : Implement automation techniques within SolidWorks to streamline design processes and increase productivity.
• Collaboration with Machine Shop & Production Floor : Work closely with our machine shop and production floor teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet production specifications. Provide technical support and adjustments as necessary to optimize production efficiency.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for all designs.
• Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges, ensuring the best possible solutions are implemented in the final product.

Required Qualifications:

• SolidWorks Proficiency : Minimum of 5 years of experience with SolidWorks in mechanical design and 3D modeling.
• Microsoft Office Suite : Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel; advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, data analysis) are highly preferred.
• Attention to Detail : Proven ability to produce high-quality, precise mechanical designs.
• SolidWorks Automation : Experience implementing automation techniques in SolidWorks (e.g., API, macros).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electronics Knowledge : Experience with electronic components, systems, and integration is a plus.
• Micro/Miniature Parts Design : Experience designing micro or miniature parts is an added advantage.
• Programming Skills : Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, C#, or Python to aid in design automation and optimization.
• Machine Shop Experience : Prior experience in machining, programming, or working closely with a machine shop is a plus.

Additional Skills:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams (engineering, production) and external suppliers or partners.
• Proactive attitude toward problem-solving and design challenges.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
