Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 /Hr DOE

ATX Solar is looking for full and part-time solar installers to join our installation team to assist with installs.

Previous Solar Experience is required.

Overview

The Installer position is a contributing member of a solar installation construction crew. The installers works as a team with the lead installer to complete residential solar installation projects.

Potential Responsibilities

• Perform Site Surveys / roof measurements accurately
• Complete layout and assembles solar modules, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment and tools in preparation of installation
• Assist with mounting and installation of solar modules, inverters, and equipment
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms
• Assembles the racking, solar modules, panels or support structures as specified in the project plan
• Ensures a clean and orderly job site
  
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times
• Participate in mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
• Some overnight travel and Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous solar installation experience required
• Competency to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner no matter the situation
• Capable of meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision, as well as within team-based environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds
• Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to: excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity
• Ability to work and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of height

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
