Monday thru Friday some Saturday!
Shift: Mid day!
Key responsibilities of an order selector:
Picking orders:
Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations according to customer orders using a picking list or warehouse management system.
Palletizing:
Stack selected products onto pallets in an organized manner, ensuring proper labeling and quantity.
Operating warehouse equipment:
Safely operate powered industrial equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, or order pickers to access different warehouse levels.
Inventory management:
Verify product availability, report stock discrepancies, and assist with cycle counts.
Quality control:
Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and report any issues.
Packaging and labeling:
Properly package orders, including applying labels with accurate product information and shipping details.
Loading and staging:
Move prepared pallets to the loading dock for shipment.
Maintaining cleanliness:
Keep work area organized and clean.
