CPA firm is seeking a Controller to join their team.

Duties will include:

• Oversee the firm’s Finance Dept
• Handle the firm’s timely and accurate A/R Billings (setup of terms, payment methods, billing milestone, recurring, hourly and the like)
• Oversee payment processing and collection procedures.
• Manage the firm’s A/P, including bill payment and CC reconciliations.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual timely period closing(including payroll rec, systems recon and multiple analytics reports)
• Work closely with the firm partners, accountants and admin teams to ensure smooth operations
• Preparing annual budget
• Reporting KPIs and budget vs actual reports to partners.
• Performance of other related duties as required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years’ experience in managing billing, credit and collection, experience in accrual accounting, financial reporting, financial controllership, financial forecasting, payroll and A/R.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks.
• Full P&L and Balance Sheet analysis and control as well as various ad hoc.
• Cash flow and forecasting capabilities.
• Analyze budgets and monitor actual vs. budget on a regular basis.
• Experience in managing a team is a plus
