AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cambay Healthcare LLC to find a qualified Medical Lab Technician in Baltimore, Maryland, 21209!Pay Information$2,100 to $2,250 per weekAbout The PositionJob Title: Medical Lab Technician (Day Shift) Duration: 13 WeeksShift: Monday–Friday, 5x4-Hour Days (9:00 AM – 1:30 PM) Key Responsibilities: Perform specimen processing, handling, and accurate accessioning. Conduct tests and analyze specimens in hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, and immunoassays. Operate automated instruments including Sysmex XM, XS/XN, and Ortho Vitros. Utilize pipetting techniques, report test results, and adhere to quality control protocols. Manage blood specimen storage, proper labeling, and ensure hazardous material safety. Maintain accurate documentation within Meditech EMR system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff including phlebotomy teams. Adhere to laboratory policies and safety standards including MSDS and transmission-based precautions.
