Job Title: Senior Tax Manager

Salary: $180K - $200K

We are a highly collaborative mid-sized regional CPA firm with decades of experience across tax, audit, digital assets, and CAS. We have multiple offices servicing the greater San Francisco Bay Area, however, our team is fully remote!


Due to growth and demand for our services, we are in need of a talented Senior Tax Manager to join our team!


What you will be doing:

• Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, providing strategic tax planning, resolving complex issues, and identifying opportunities for tax savings and advisory services.

• Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members, ensuring knowledge transfer, technical growth, and adherence to firm processes and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related

• Active CPA

• 8+ years of professional tax experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A willingness to mentor less experienced staff

• Strong communication skills

• 3+ years of tax management (nice to have)
