React Native Developer (Mobile)

Location: New York

An early-stage, mission-driven startup in the health & wellness x gamification space is looking for a React Native Developer to own and evolve the mobile app experience used by thousands of engaged users.

We’re building a category-defining product at the intersection of science, data and community. Backed by top-tier investors and growing fast, you’ll be joining a tight-knit, high-caliber team working on a consumer-facing app that rewards people for improving their lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop, maintain, and scale a React Native app across iOS and Android
• Implement features like leaderboards, challenges, rewards, and user dashboards
• Integrate with 3rd-party APIs (e.g. health/wearable platforms)
• Work closely with product, backend, and design to ship high-quality features fast
• Own the mobile experience end-to-end and help shape its evolution

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years building and shipping React Native apps at scale
• Strong grasp of performance optimization, mobile UX and state management
• Experience working with health data, wearables, or Bluetooth integrations is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, async-friendly environment
• Startup-ready mindset: low ego, high initiative, focused on impact

Nice to Have

• Exposure to crypto, tokens, or gamified apps
• Experience building social or community-oriented features
• You’ve built something weird, fun or loved by users
