Summit Valley Services in Amherst is looking for one cleaning professional to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. This takes place at 4 locations in Cleveland (Triskett, Downtown, Midtown, and St. Claire/Superior) in close proximity to each other.

Position Hours :
Monday: 10 am - 1:00 pm
Tuesday: 5:15 - 9:15 pm
Wednesday: 4:30 - 8:00 pm
Thursday: 5 - 7:15 pm, 7:15 - 8:30 pm

Job Summary:
The Cleaning Professional will clean, disinfect, and maintain offices and commercial buildings.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property.
• Uses a cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms, including toilets.
• Cleans and disinfects kitchen areas.
• Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors.
• Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
• Mopping of hard surface flooring.
• Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels and soaps in bathrooms.
• Picks up and empties trash containers..
• In commercial property, notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
• Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
• Must have regular and reliable attendance.
• Must have a valid driver license.

Education and Experience:

• Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
