We are looking for a dedicated Microbiology Clinical Lab Scientist like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** **Our Clinical Lab Scientists perform clinical testing in one or more of the following areas: blood bank, chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, microbiology and manual tests. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!** + **You will perform automated, semi-automated and manual procedures in the fields of bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, coagulation, serology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and immunohematology. According to established procedures and policies** + **You will perform preventative maintenance on laboratory instrumentation, interpret results as to their accuracy, acceptability and critical limits and organizes work to meet established deadlines and record all data obtained** + **You will work actively and be cooperative with nursing and other hospital staff to ensure timely patient care as well as assist with regulatory compliance** W **hat qualifications you will need:** + Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license per CA State Board + At least one year of acute care hospital experience; new grads will be considered + Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent from an accredited college or university Good Samaritan Hospital ( has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patient's access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
