*Job Description LVN: *
The LVN is responsible for the nursing assessment, medication monitoring, and overall client care. LVN will report directly to the Director of Nursing.
*Duties and Responsibilities LVN:*
* Medication monitoring processes, observe the process of self-administration of medication
* Collect UA samples for testing.
* Tend to a patient's comfort, personal hygiene and emotional needs
* Read vital signs, such as pulse, temperature, blood pressure and respiration
* Assist RA's with maintenance of nursing supplies and over the counter medication supplies
* Documentation and providing of shift report
* Medication counts as required
* Complete Admission assessment
* Transcribe and maintain accurate med sheets per MD orders
* Nursing and suicide assessments
* Any and all other duties as assigned by Program manager or Nursing Director
*Preferred:*
* Experience in the behavioral healthcare field for substance abuse and mental health (1 Year)
* Proficient in Excel and Word
*Requirements:*
* Current California Nursing License-LVN
* Criminal Record Clearance or exemption via live scan
* CPR/First Aid Certification – Training Provided Upon Hire
* Current TB Test- Test Provided Upon Hire
* Current Health Screening- Screening Provided Upon Hire
* Must be comfortable with being on-call on weekends periodically
* Must be willing to travel between locations daily

*Pay Rate:*
* Part-time position- hourly rate $34 - $37per hour
