Position Summary
A Lead Technician (LT)is a key team member nominated by the Store Manager and approved by the certified training Store Manager. Lead Technicians set the standard for all technicians by consistently demonstrating superior technical skills, professionalism, and reliability. While not a manager, Lead Technicians may assume management responsibilities as needed and are considered the next in line for promotion to Assistant Shop Manager.
Lead Technicians are expected to be punctual, maintain proper uniform standards, and perform vehicle services on a variety of makes and models with technical excellence. Completion of all relevant training courses and adherence to the Lead Tech Training Manual is required.
