Job Title: Insulation Installer - Southern California
Location: Van Nuys region & surrounding Southern California areas
Employment Type: Full-time
Join a veteran-founded insulation contractor known for delivering energy-efficient, pest-resistant solutions with military precision. You'll install a variety of insulation systems-from attics to walls and crawl spaces-using cutting-edge techniques to enhance comfort, reduce energy costs, and improve indoor air quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform installations of:
Attic, wall, ceiling, crawl space, and whole-home insulation
Drill-and-fill systems (cellulose or other material) for wall cavities
Blown-in or loose-fill insulation (fiberglass, mineral wool, cellulose)
Radiant barrier systems and spray polyurethane foam
Pest-resistant TAP® insulation
Remove and dispose of old or contaminated insulation safely and thoroughly
Install or seal air ducts, perform duct cleaning, and handle attic fan setups
Conduct air leakage sealing to enhance indoor air quality and energy efficiency
Follow all safety standards and building codes meticulously
Use both hand and power tools, protective gear, and clean up the job site systematically
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Demonstrated experience (2+ years preferred) installing one or more of the system types listed above
Strong physical stamina and ability to work in confined or elevated settings
Familiarity with safety guidelines (OSHA a plus)
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and committed to delivering high-quality results
TAP® pest-resistant and energy-efficiency credentials or certifications (e.g., BPI, LEED)
Experience with HVAC duct insulation, cleaning, or sealing
Knowledge of air-sealing techniques and whole-home thermal barrier strategies
Hourly Wage: $25-$35 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications
Potential Extras: Overtime pay, job-completion bonuses, benefits (health, PTO), possible tool allowances
