Moore Mechanical is part of the MM Acquisitions group of HVAC and plumbing companies. We currently cover most of the Lower Peninsula and have eight office locations. We’ve grown significantly over the last several years and plan to continue on this growth trajectory.

Compensation

Compensation will be heavily dependent upon experience. Pay package is very competitive.

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HVAC Senior Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical expertise, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial and residential HVAC systems. You will also serve as a mentor to junior technicians, ensuring work quality, safety, and adherence to company standards.

As a Senior Service Technician, you will interact directly with customers and fellow team members. This position requires both technical ability and professionalism, as you will represent our company in the field and play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction and retention.

A company vehicle, tablet computer, and cell phone will be provided. A retirement plan and health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on HVAC service experience in residential and/or commercial settings.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, troubleshooting techniques, and repair practices.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in varying environments (hot, cold, outdoors, rooftops).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• High attention to detail with ability to complete accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with digital diagnostic tools, mobile apps, and service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan).
• Experience with hydronic systems, VRF systems, and advanced controls.
