Sony Pictures Television is seeking a Director of Operations for the Insights, Strategy & Analytics organization . As the world’s largest independent studio, Sony Pictures Television produces original content for linear networks and digital platforms. Our series include dramas like THE NIGHT AGENT, THE LAST OF US, and THE BOYS; comedies like TWISTED METAL and COBRA KAI; and unscripted series like JEOPARDY!, WHEEL OF FORTUNE, and AMERICAN IDOL, beloved worldwide.

Reporting to the EVP & head of the division, this leader will drive impactful decision-making by establishing operational processes related to project management, team organization, budgets, vendor relations, and leadership updates. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, organizational skills, budget management expertise, and a collaborative style. Passion for storytelling and a desire to optimize team performance are essential. Knowledge of insights, content strategy, and analytics is preferred for strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Team Operations & Project Tracking : Manage operations, develop organizational tools (e.g., systems like Airtable), prepare reporting for leadership, manage workflow, and suggest operational solutions.
2. Budget & Spend Management : Create and track budgets, manage invoicing and POs, and analyze ROI of research investments.
3. Vendor Organization : Track vendor relationships, manage contracts, lead vendor discovery, and oversee contract renewals.
4. Upskilling : Develop and implement training programs for team growth in data and analytics.
5. Collaboration & Team Building : Foster best practices, organize team events, and support team summits and cross-team meetings.
6. Leadership & Development of Key Tools : Manage insights repositories, oversee proprietary panels like VIP Voices, and develop efficiency tools.
7. Strategic Projects : Lead analysis projects, prepare presentations, manage external partnerships, and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields
• 8+ years in project management, insights, or strategy roles
• Leadership experience with organizational tools and influence
• Expertise in budget management
• Understanding of analytics and content strategy (preferred)
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills

• Experience in media and entertainment industry
• Passion for film and TV
• Strong executive presence and strategic mindset
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in multicultural, international organizations
• Strong presentation skills and innovation focus

Salary range: $146,000 - $175,000, with potential incentives and benefits. Actual salary depends on experience, education, and location.
