Located at our MRO facility in Miami, GA Telesis is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented  Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer to join our team. The EHS Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and to promote a culture of safety across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety/environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analysis.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training to employees and contractors as needed.
• Monitor environmental performance, including waste management and emissions control.
• Maintains accurate EHS documentation, permits, and reports.
• Support emergency preparedness planning and drills.

Qualifications

• Certification such as OSHA, CSP, or similar preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
