A contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) specializing in school-based services. This position is set within an elementary school setting located in Puyallup, Washington, providing essential support to young students during the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of elementary school students.
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assist in assessing student abilities and progress to ensure effective therapeutic interventions.
• Support classroom participation and promote skill development to enhance academic and social success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and therapy program regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric occupational therapy within a school setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
