Job Description

A Contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the current school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Renton, WA. This role focuses on supporting students' functional participation by providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students within the school environment.
• Monitoring student progress and documenting therapy outcomes.
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress and functional goals.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to student education plans as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience working within school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
• Knowledge of K-12 educational environment and related therapy regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
