Assistant Property ManagerLHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager with 5 years of experience in a similar role. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, located in Harlem, New York. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for residents in Section 8 PBV, TPV, and NYCHA PACT programs.
  • Address tenant inquiries, mediate disputes, and lead engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct move-in/move-out processes and new resident orientations.
  • Clearly communicate lease terms, rent calculations, subsidy requirements, and building policies.
  • Prepare and manage lease agreements and maintain accurate program records.
  • Oversee annual recertifications and rent adjustments per HUD, HPD, and PACT guidelines.
  • Collaborate with housing agencies to resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage rent collection, subsidy tracking, arrears follow-up, and notice issuance.
  • Prepare monthly statements and assist with budgeting and variance analysis.
  • Oversee work orders and vendor contracts to meet HQS and local code requirements.
  • Prioritize urgent repairs and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Track inspections and repairs using systems and agency portals.
  • Monitor HUD, HPD, Section 8, and NYCHA PACT regulations.
  • Submit timely reports, coordinate pre-inspections, and manage cure plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation.
  • Log and prioritize tenant complaints, especially those affecting health and safety.
  • Document resolutions and analyze trends to improve policies and procedure
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of Housing/Property Management experience
Employment Type: Direct HireSalary: $70,000-85,000/yr

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
