We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented professionals to join our elite team as a Utility Specialist/Dishwasher at the Centurion Lounge located in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport .

This is more than a dishwashing role. It is an essential part of a polished, high-touch environment designed to provide a sanctuary for distinguished travelers. As an Airport Lounge Utility Specialist, you will help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and efficiency behind the scenes, contributing directly to the elevated guest experience.

Role Overview:

The Utility Specialist plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across all kitchen and dishwashing areas. This position supports culinary and service teams by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are impeccably cleaned and ready for use. You will also uphold food safety, hygiene, and operational standards in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all dishware, cookware, and utensils using both hand-washing and dish machine methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized dish room and kitchen workspace.
• Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations, floors, walls, and refrigeration units.
• Remove waste and recyclables to designated areas in compliance with safety standards.
• Support kitchen operations with restocking and organizing supplies.
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with HACCP and OSHA guidelines.
• Uphold Sodexo and Centurion Lounge sanitation, safety, and appearance standards.
• Attend all required safety and foodborne illness training.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to excellence.

Experience/Knowledge:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 2 years related experience.

Skills/Aptitude:

• Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
• Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
• Ability to use a computer.

Physical Requirements:

• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):

• Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold environments.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
