Job Description

Supporting students with Autism in a dynamic K-12 school setting, this paraprofessional role focuses on delivering one-on-one ABA support within a structured Partner program. This position offers the opportunity to apply and expand your experience working with children on the autism spectrum, alongside dedicated educational professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized 1:1 ABA support to students with Autism.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and specialists to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Participate actively in a comprehensive 35-hour training week prior to the school year.
• Attend additional workshops and training sessions throughout the year as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress effectively.
• Support students social, emotional, and academic growth within the structured Partner program.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience working in ABA or similar support roles with students with Autism.
• Ability to obtain or be in the process of obtaining Paraeducator II certification from the New Hampshire Department of Education. (Applicants with any college degree or at least 48 college credits can apply directly with a background check.)
• Commitment to participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in an educational environment.
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for supporting students' individual needs.

Location:

• Manchester, New Hampshire a vibrant community with excellent educational resources.

Schedule and Contract Details:

• Contract runs for the current school year.
• Training week scheduled for the week of August 18.
• School year hours: Monday-Thursday 7:20 a.m. to 3:20 p.m., Friday 7:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
• Three workshop days before school starts (August 25-27) plus up to five additional training days as approved.
